The 75th Starfleet Marine Expeditionary Unit.

This starfleet marine simulation is ran very closely to the real world U.S. Marine Corps. All the ranks and positions will reflect this but there are a couple of things to keep in mind before you submit your application. First thing to realize is that we are just as much a non-combat sim as we are a combat one. When we deploy, it’s your game face as there is no R&R or things like that, when we are back in the rear at our homebase on earth, Starfleet Marine Corps Base Triton in California, we have lives, families and daily responsibilities such as hours of rifle training or hand-to-hand combat that is very common place in a marine unit.

If you simply here for the experience, great, pick a slot, submit a well-rounded application and have it it, we love those kinds of characters and writers and the tend to do very well on simulations like this. However if you noticed the seemingly overwhelming levels within each element of various battalions, I’d love to take a second and explain to you why there are there. Much like in the real Marine Corps, promotions not only come with rank, but responsibility as well. Starting out as a junior officer and being a active part of the simulation will earn you promotions and responsibilities that will greatly help you with character development. By no means does anyone have to do this, but it’s an interesting way to see just how things are done in the real Marine Corps. Just keep in mind that we are making a lot of this up as we go along and simply using the marines as a guideline for organization. Everything else is up to us. Looking forward to seeing your on the battlefield marine.

Starting the Organia Campaigns, the 75th SFMEU has been tasked with taking the all important spaceport city of bI'reS for combat operations throughout the Planet. With the unit having the highest combat experience of all the MEU's going into battle, the MEF Commanding General wanted the 75th to lead the charge in taking the planet by seizing the heavily fortified and defended spaceport.

It is my sad duty to inform you that Captain Talon (David's Character) has been removed from the simm as a result of two months of inactivity and no response to several emails. I've also removed Luke from the simulation for the same reason. If either of them wants to rejoin the simm they are indeed welcome to and I'll arrange an epic prison ship style rescue mission to get them back. I'm glad to report however the Phil has been in touch and offered to remain.on as a recurring character every so often. He will not be handling any simm related queries or issues pertaining to the current story line. That all comes to me now. So now that the simm is beginning to regain momentum I do hope you guys are ready for some action. There will be more space combat coming up along with some ground and pound, I'll also need volunteers for some more clandestine operations coming up too. Keep in touch and don't forget to mail me if you've any issues.

Alrighty lads and ladies. As you can see I've gotten us moving again with a quick flurry of posts detailing our rescue from Organia Prime and the arrival of a new ship. The Thunderchild will be joining us for a while as our campaign here progresses, with a bit of luck we will get this simm tackling for diverse posts that perhaps won't be entirely combat oriented but again, diverse. I welcome you all to get your own posts up and done preferably before the weekend. Any joint posts currently running with you guys will have two weeks worth of time allowed after that I'll need to push for a bit more forward momentum and keep the simm moving.
Alright that's it any issues or questions message me and I'll get back to you as soon as humanly possible.

"Helm, observe port speed and dock us up." Captain Jenkins said quietly as the Wood drifted slowly closer to the starbase which had grown larger in the viewscreen.
